As part of our ongoing expansion, we are very proud and extremely excited to announce the launch of our newest destination, Mallorca! In fact, this is the first of many moves to expand our portfolio and services outside of Ibiza, so this is a particularly special announcement from all of us at Privadia.
It’s no secret that we have ambitious plans for overseas expansion but as mentioned in our 2018 Round-Up it’s important to recognise when the timing is right for such moves. Privadia was born out of the unique Balearic island Ibiza, so Mallorca seems like a very obvious next step. However, we also understand that even such a small move like this still relies heavily on making sure our team, our processes, technology and the properties we offer are all aligned with our brand and company ethos.
Further to a comprehensive survey with some of our key agency partners we recognised that Mallorca, in similar ways to Ibiza is quite fragmented when it comes to finding suppliers who can offer high-quality properties across the whole island. With the island being almost 7 times bigger than Ibiza, the key areas seemed to be split out with different agents focusing on their local areas only. It’s still early days for us but in any event, we have made a conscious effort to ensure we are offering Privadia standard properties across all the popular areas and resorts, covering Portals, Deia, Andratx, Sóller, Pollenca and Palma as part of our first phase launch.

We are continually looking for ways to improve our service and as part of our overseas expansion we are also launching new technology that will assist us in the management of our overall operations. From pre-arrival online check-in services, through to a 24-hour customer service team the attention to detail which our high-end clients expect will continue to be a key focus. Couple that with local on the ground representatives who are tasked with ensuring the guest experience is flawless and we have the same winning formula that has been proven over many years in Ibiza.

Existing Agency Partners
For existing agency partners that are already signed up and working with Privadia, the process is as simple as ‘switching on’ Mallorca in your agency portal, and if applicable your website listings. Simply contact your account manager who will be able to talk you through the process and update your portfolio with immediate effect.
