San Antonio (Sant Antoni de Portmany) faces west across a wide bay, which is why it has become the place to watch the sun go down in Ibiza. The town itself is lively in high summer, but step a few minutes outside it and you are in a different world: quiet valleys, pine-covered hills and some of the island’s most beautiful, unspoilt coves.
That is where our villas are. Homes in Can Tomàs, Benimussa and the hills above the bay give guests privacy, space and sunset views, with the beaches, restaurants and boat trips of San Antonio close by. For groups and families, it is also one of the best-value parts of Ibiza.
Sant Rafel, Santa Agnès and the San José coast are all within 15 minutes of San Antonio. Ask our team for a tailored shortlist.
San Antonio’s harbour and seafront promenade curve around one of the largest natural bays in Ibiza. At the northern end, the rocky shoreline known as the Sunset Strip is lined with bars where crowds gather every evening to watch the sun drop into the sea. From the harbour, boats run to Cala Bassa, Cala Comte and Formentera throughout the summer.
Beyond the town, the municipality takes in some of Ibiza’s prettiest countryside: the villages of Sant Rafel and Santa Agnès de Corona, and valleys of almond, olive and carob trees – spectacular when the almond blossom flowers in late winter.
Can Tomàs is a residential hillside just above the bay, with wide views and some of the best sunset terraces on the island. The Benimussa valley, south-east of town, is greener and more rural, home to traditional fincas surrounded by farmland. Sant Rafel, on the road to Ibiza Town, is a small village known for its pottery and its restaurants, and is handy for both coasts.
Cala Salada and Cala Saladeta – twin coves of turquoise water and pine-backed sand, among the most beautiful on the island.
Cala Gració and Cala Gracioneta – two small, sheltered beaches just north of town, good for children.
Punta Galera – flat rock terraces for swimming and snorkelling in clear water.
Cala Comte and Cala Bassa – famous for sunsets and shallow, bright water, about 15 minutes’ drive or a short boat ride.
Our homes here range from restored fincas with stone walls, shaded terraces and large gardens in Benimussa, to contemporary hillside villas in Can Tomàs designed around the view and the sunset. Most sleep 8–12 guests and have private pools. A car is recommended, although taxis to town are quick.
Ibiza airport is about 25 minutes by road, and Ibiza Town about 20. Our concierge team can arrange private transfers, car hire, sunset boat trips and arrival shopping.

The town centre is busy in July and August, but our villas are in the quiet countryside and hills outside it, close to calm, family-friendly coves such as Cala Gració.
The Sunset Strip in town, Cala Comte and Punta Galera are the classic spots – and many of our hillside villas in Can Tomàs have their own sunset view from the terrace.
A car is recommended for exploring the coves and countryside. Our concierge can arrange car hire or private transfers.
