Stone village houses and dual-villa collections in the Tramuntana mountains – a short walk from cafés, galleries and the sea at Cala Deià.

Deià is one of the most beautiful villages in the Mediterranean: honey-coloured stone houses stacked on a hillside between the Tramuntana mountains and the sea, on Mallorca’s north-west coast. The poet Robert Graves made it his home for most of his life, and it has drawn writers, artists and musicians ever since.
The village is small, quiet and walkable, with a handful of excellent restaurants, galleries and cafés. Villas here suit couples and families who want character and views rather than a resort, and our dual-villa collections let larger groups stay a few minutes’ walk apart in the heart of the village.
Two Deià villas booked together – 8 bedrooms and up to 16 guests – so families and friends can share holidays and celebrations without giving up privacy.
Valldemossa, Sóller and Llucalcari are all within 20 minutes of Deià. Ask our team for a tailored shortlist.
Deià climbs a small hill crowned by the parish church of Sant Joan Baptista, where Robert Graves is buried in the little cemetery with views over the sea. His house, Ca n’Alluny, is now a museum just outside the village. Below the church, the main street is lined with galleries, boutiques and terraces, and the whole village sits inside the Serra de Tramuntana, a UNESCO World Heritage cultural landscape.
Just along the coast, the tiny hamlet of Llucalcari and the Son Marroig estate, with its famous view of the Sa Foradada rock, are worth a short detour.
Cala Deià is a small pebble cove with crystal-clear water, fishermen’s huts and a couple of beachside restaurants serving fresh fish. It’s a pleasant walk down from the village through olive terraces, or a short drive with limited parking. For sandy beaches, Port de Sóller is about 20 minutes away.
Hiking – the GR 221 dry-stone route passes through Deià, and the Archduke’s Path above the village is one of the island’s classic ridge walks.
Dining – from relaxed village cafés to some of Mallorca’s most celebrated restaurants, all within walking distance.
Day trips – Valldemossa and its Carthusian monastery (10 minutes), Sóller and its vintage tram (20 minutes) and Palma (around 35–40 minutes).
Culture – galleries, summer concerts and the Robert Graves house museum.
Most villas are restored stone village houses with terraces, plunge or private pools and mountain or sea views. Properties are close together inside the village, which is why our dual-villa collections work so well for groups of up to 16. Expect steps and narrow lanes – part of Deià’s charm – and plan parking in advance.
Palma de Mallorca airport is about 45 minutes by road via Valldemossa, on a scenic but winding mountain road. A car is recommended for exploring the coast; our concierge team can arrange private transfers, car hire and arrival shopping.
Travel agents, tour operators and DMCs get live availability, trade rates and white-label links for every Deià villa and collection through the Privadia partner dashboard.
